RTI Reporting Extended to 2016

Micro employers given more time to report

Following a recent Real Time Information (RTI) survey, HMRC has announced that those existing employers with 9 or fewer employees will be given more time to report PAYE information on or before the last payday in the tax month, until April 2016. This is an extension of the current relaxation that was due to end in April of next year.

However, employers starting to operate PAYE after 6th April 2014, along with existing employers with 10 or more employees will need to report each time they pay their employees.

From April 2016 all employers will be required to report PAYE each time they pay their employees unless they are excepted from doing so.

According to the Revenue, the vast majority of employers are finding RTI reporting straightforward and more than 99% of PAYE records are being successfully reported in real time. Almost 93% of active employers are now using the new processes to transmit PAYE information about their employees.

I switched over to QAccounting a few months ago and haven't looked back. I get to speak to my own client manager and accountant, the prices were the best I had seen, and I paid exactly what it said online (no extra costs). Very happy with QA.
