Data is collected so that Contractor Weekly Ltd can send email newsletters and other offers to subscribing customers. Customers will have the opportunity to unsubscribe by following instructions contained in each email sent by Contractor Weekly Ltd. On this basis, your personal data will be retained for the period of time whilst you subscribe to Contractor Weekly Ltd’s email updates. In the event that you unsubscribe from the email update service, your personal data will be destroyed.

7.3.11 Computers used to view personal data must always be locked before being left unattended;
7.3.12 No personal data should be stored on any mobile device, whether such device belongs to the Company or otherwise without the formal written approval of the IT Manager and a Company Director and then strictly in accordance with all instructions and limitations described at the time the approval is given, and for no longer than is absolutely necessary;
7.3.13 No personal data should be transferred to any device personally belonging to an employee and personal data may only be transferred to devices belonging to agents, contractors, or other parties working on behalf of the Company where the party in question has agreed to comply fully with the Company’s Data Protection Policy and the GDPR;
7.3.14 All personal data stored electronically should be backed up hourly with backups stored offsite. All backups should be encrypted;
7.3.15 All electronic copies of personal data should be stored securely using passwords and encryption;
7.3.16 All passwords used to protect personal data should be changed regularly and should must be secure;
7.3.17 Under no circumstances should any passwords be written down or shared. If a password is forgotten, it must be reset using the applicable method. IT staff do not have access to passwords;
7.3.18 All software should be kept up-to-date. Security-related updates should be installed not more than 30 days after becoming available;
7.3.19 No software may be installed on any Company-owned computer or device without approval; and
7.3.20 Where personal data held by the Company is used for marketing purposes, it shall be the responsibility of the Marketing Manager to ensure that the appropriate consent is obtained and that no data subjects have opted out, whether directly or via a third-party service such as the TPS.
8.1 We may share your data with other companies in Our group for internal accounting, business analysis and regulatory compliance oversight. This includes Our holding company and its subsidiaries.
8.2 If you purchase an insurance product from Us, We will be required to share your data with the insurer(s) of those insurance products. The identity of the insurer(s) with which your data will be shared will be confirmed to you within our purchase process, and the terms and conditions of any insurance product we provide to you will contain data protection provisions that describe how they will in turn use your personal data.
