Q. Where can I access HMRC’s Self Assessment Online Chat?
A. HMRC are using a chat service which is in an open chat forum with HMRC staff available to help. Staff will not have access to your account so it is recommended that you use the helpline for any complex queries.
To register, please click here. The link also provides a timetable of when the open chat forum will be open.
I started to read what the you need to have in place to be exempt from paying CGT on your home and one of the criteria is “you haven’t used part of it for business only” https://www.gov.uk/tax-sell-home What does this mean? I have two companies registered to my apartment address and I suspect in my accounts I have stated that I am charging the company to use part of the property for business and claiming tax relief on it. What do I need to do to protect my CGT position on the apartment?
I have problems registering with me in HM and I have an urgent need for SA302 tax calculation document.
